The death toll from a collapsed six-storey building in Nairobi has risen to 16 and red cross could not verify how many more people might still be under the rubble.

Rescue workers are searching for residents trapped in the rubble of a
six-storey building that collapsed in Nairobi after days of heavy rain.
The Lower floors of the building crumpled late on Friday, leaving some of the top storeys almost intact. At least ten bodies have been recovered.
Hundreds of people gathered around the area waiting to see if more survivors would be found.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and other government officials visited the site of the building yesterday.
Huruma is a densely populated low income area. Buildings are often erected without official permission and the area lacks proper drainage and sanitation.
